Funny Entry at Volokh Conspiracy

Orin Kerr writes:

Saddam Hussein and the Extraterrestrials:

According to this source, 32% of Americans questioned in a recent poll believe that Saddam Hussein personally planned the 9/11 attacks. And according to this source, 34% of Americans questioned in a recent poll believe in UFOs. All of which leads me to wonder: are these the same people?

The Volokh Conspiracy is a lawyer blog, but I think it's entertaining and informative for non-lawyers, too. And oh, the writing...you can see why these guys are published in law journals all the time. Even their non-technical writing, for us masses, sings with clarity.

I checked the Volokh site, and was left a little befuddled. Probably because I am a victim of Bush's divisive politics so that now all I can stand to read are websites devoted to getting him out of office. It's too much work to try to figure out where Volokh stands. How 'bout you tell me? Pretty please?

Volokh is a rarity -- a law professor with a sense of humor. My impression of him is that he's a political conservative, but not a fanatic. He showed up for his presentation one year at the Conference of Appellate Staff Attorneys wearing a Rush Limbaugh tie. His opponent in that debate was another rare law prof. with a sense of humor. Most unusual.

What with being a constitutional law type, he's libertarian. Conservative in the good senses of the word, as in, wanting to conserve.
