The blessings are just pouring in
Our beater car just died. The engine shows no signs of containing any oil. Clanking noises and smoke from the engine. I think it was fatal.
Whatever I happen to feel like distributing to the ether at the moment.
Please, no profanity in the comments - I'm a terrible prude, and besides, my momma might be reading!

I'm sorry Anna. That stinks.
That really does suck. Sorry sorry sorry .
I called my buddy the car guy last night. DH found a jagged hole about the size of a silver dollar in the engine, and could see white smoke swirling around inside. Car guy asked, "Is it making a clanking noise?" Yes. "It threw a rod."
Let us all observe a moment of silence.
Reminds me of the time last summer when the block heater exploded and all the coolant leaked onto the road. That was not fun at all.
Would it be worth sticking in a new engine? Probably you'd do better with another beater car.
Ashes to ashes,
dust to dust,
old cars to Mexico,
or to the scrap yard.
Rest peaceful, little car.
Oh, Randy, that was wonderful. Thanks for the Diet Mountain Dew Spewing Laugh.
If you hear of any beater cars for sale, let me know.
