Great!
congratulations!
She's doing great, I guess. I'll be going up the end of next month. Dad went on a sales call at lunch yesterday and she stayed home by herself and was OK with that.
She's still frustrated by some things. She didn't know how to use the microwave, and that upset her, but she may have learned how by now. And her speech is still not good; I'm beginning to fear it may not come back. She resumes speech therapy on June 6.
Both Mom and Dad are just thrilled to have her back home. Three months ago, we didn't know if that would happen; we both thought that mom might end up in a nursing home and my dad would be financially ruined within two years. Fortunately, that didn't happen.

does your mom have a speech therapist working with her as well as a physical therapist?
wishing her well on recovery. it sure is hard work. glad you will get to visit. i bet you will get a few hugs from your grandchildren while you are up there.
