Whiner

Hello, my name is Ann and I'm a whiner.

I'm not a tonal whiner. My whining is not nasal, or high pitched. But it is whining nonetheless.

Readers, forgive me. Henceforth I will try not to wallow so much during "that time of the month." It might amuse you to know that as much as I complain on paper, I complain even more in my head.

Scott Peck has written that as soon as we let go of thinking that our suffering is unique; that our circumstances are different from others' and things Should Not Be This Way, life becomes easier, because we stop expecting it to be easy.

I think it's time to read The Road Less Travelled again.

Hello, Ann. My name is Deb, and I find great grace in whining.

When I whine it's short-lived. When I gritch and moan it's too often politically motivated, outside my immediate touch to correct.

Yes, I'm a whiner and proud to stand and say so. Thank goodness for the things I'm able to change.

There is alot to whine about in life, whine away, just don't let it effect your health.

I'm hungry and tired and I want a cookie.

Jee-whilikers, I just can't do it as good as you, Ann :) I like your whining better than mine, so go for it.

I really love whining. I even like listening to it as long as its not from my kids or husband directed at me.

Something that has always made it easier for me to go through my life is knowing that nothing that has happened to me is unique or uncommon to life.

On the other hand, I've found that I am happier if I don't whine.

For what it is worth, I agree with the thoughts in the post. You might want to update your blogger profile, btw, so it links to your new site instead of the old one.

Regards,

Stephen

Stephen, I must say I disagree with you. Very, very few people have had happen to them what you've had happen to you.

Glad to see you here. And thanks for the hint - I'll do that.
