One More Thing
I have been overwhelmed by the affection and concern of so many of you, many of whom I've never met. I can't tell y'all how much it means to me.
Whatever I happen to feel like distributing to the ether at the moment.
Please, no profanity in the comments - I'm a terrible prude, and besides, my momma might be reading!

Well, we love you Honey!!!
You've been like a touchstone to me when it comes to writing...exploring the truth of my destiny - I applaud your perspective and discipline. I can't wait to see you and I am certain your strength has no end. - "amy/alex"
Glad you are ok. They've been calling through our stake to line up homes for people they anticipate coming in. (Well, my daughter's best friend already has another family living with them).
OK, good.
I've watched way too much coverage of the slow relief efforts, and have feared far too many bad things happening to you guys, and now I can just be thankful you're more than OK.
Nanna P,
Saw the link to your blog ... I was heartened to read that you are out of harms way. ((Hugs))
Hello Ann, from C & L in Raleigh. This is C writing--it is my first time to read or write into a blog. You can tell how old-fashioned I am! Our mutual friends in Lubbock alerted us to your blog. We are so glad to know that you and your home are safe. We hope that the general state of things will allow you to return without being away too long. I noticed that you are coming to NC. Can you stop by? You can easily find our contact info at work on the university Web page. All the best to you and the whole family.
Best of luck, Ann. I hope you can get back into your home soon.
Cheers, Hellmut
Trail Seeker was here, I want to echo what Hellmut said.
Nanna, your plans take you almost past my front door. It will be open for you if you'd like to rest for a while. I left a message for you with details at the NOM - Foyer message service.
